We are experiencing the worst chlorine shortage that this country has ever seen. Some of the contributing factors include (1) a pandemic swimming pool boom, creating a higher demand, (2) a major chemical plant fire in one of the largest chlorine tablet manufacturers in the U.S., (3) labor shortages, and (4) supply chain challenges.

We are trying to maintain our ground and keep the pools open for as long as possible. One thing we learned is that higher water temperatures burns through a lot more chlorine. With that in mind, the Association has elected to close both spas and turn off the heat in all three swimming pools until further notice. This small sacrifice will allow us to potentially keep the larger pools open for a longer period of time.
