The Board has approved a new Vacation Home Check Request program for the Association. This program is designed to provide periodic checks to a resident’s home while they are away on vacation. The service is provided by the Association for an “extra set of eyes” on the property during the resident’s vacation absence. If any evidence of forced entry is observed by the patrol officer, local law enforcement will be called immediately.

Neighbors or family members should be used to either accept delivery of packages or remove delivered packages or newspapers from the driveway during the resident's absence.

Disclaimer: The Association assumes no liability for crime or vandalism that happens to the home at any time, including during Vacation Home Checks. This service is not intended to replace residents providing protection for their home and personal property using alarm systems and monitoring services while in residence at their home or on vacation.

Below are details on the service provided by our patrol company

Detail 1

During normal patrol cycles, the patrol officer will perform deliberate visual checks on the front of the property from the patrol vehicle, primarily to observe and detect evidence of entry at the front door and visible windows.

Detail 2

Additionally, every several days the patrol officer will approach the front of the house for a closer inspection for evidence of attempted forced entry at the windows or the front door. The officer will also look over the fence when possible to look for attempted entry of visible side windows or side garage entry doors.

Detail 3

This service is limited up to 30 days and is intended for periodic vacation absence of residents. It is not available for part-time residence, vacant properties or for long term resident's absence and home vacancy.
